Groups

Come join me at the South Louisville Writer’s Gathering for generative time or workshopping.

South Louisville Writer’s Gathering is a queer affirming, generative writing group open to all adult writers of all levels and genres. The Gathering occurs on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm at the Rosewater Bookstore. Optional prompts are provided, but writers may choose to work on their own projects.

The Workshopping Circle occurs on the 1st Monday of each month from 6-8pm. Please bring 1-2 shorter poems to share, or up to 1000 words of prose. We share during the group via GoogleDrive, so you will need a device you can read on. Writers may choose the type of feedback they receive, and pieces may be at any point in the revision process. If your piece is part of a longer project, please come with a 1-2 minute “elevator pitch” of the entire project to give any needed context to other writers.

Any schedule changes are communicated via Facebook and Email.
