About Me

As an artist, I work in a variety of mediums including ceramics, fiber arts, and printmaking.

My writing varies from the personal and confessional to the fabulist.

Writing

I studied creative writing while pursuing a B.A. at Bellarmine University in English, and took a variety of creative writing workshops at the University of Louisville while pursuing graduate work in Women & Gender Studies and Interdisciplinary Humanities.

I am also an alum of the Appalachian Writer’s Workshop and Tin House. My work has received awards as well as a Pushcart Nomination, and has been supported by the Kentucky Foundation for Women.

Art

Though I have no formal fine arts education, I have pursued the study of ceramics with various instructors in community learning settings. Much of my other art is self-taught.

My art can frequently be found at various retail settings in Louisville. Updates are posted on Instagram.

Teaching

I have led arts groups and lessons in a variety of settings throughout Louisville, and am available for ceramic and needle felting lessons for individuals or groups. Send a message if you are interested in learning more.
